Here are some of the sites that I have developed over the years. I am in the process of creating a new personal website that I hope to have up and running soon that should incorporate my new blog and hopefully will be on a proper server.
Sunny FarmSunny Farm
A little project I created using PHP to randomly generate animals on a screen and to move the sun or moon in the sky depending on the time of day. This could be used as a template for another site with random images or a moving image depending on one factor or another. I also created a JavaScript version of the same site.
ProjectFourth Year Project - The News Site
My fourth year project in 2004. It is a basic content management system designed to be used by journalists to create news posts on a website. It would create an XML version of the story and would also add the information to a MySQL database so that it could be searched. When a user would read the post the site would retrieve the XML file and parse it using PHP. NOTE: Due to security issues this site is a non functioning version of the website.
Paddyfedoo V1Paddyfedoo Online Version 1
This was the first personal site that I created. It was online from 2001 to 2004. It consists of basic HTML with Javascript used to create the menus and banners.
Paddyfedoo V2Paddyfedoo Online Version 2
A newer version of the first site. It was created in 2004 and was updated until 2007. It has HTML for the content with CSS used for positioning and design. Javascript was also used for some countdown scripts and the banner generator.
ISW V1Star Wars Fan Site Version 1
I started a site for Irish fans of Star Wars back in August 2000 and we had 27 members in the first year. It had news updates from Star Wars as well as scanned articles found in the Irish newspapers and trivia competitions. It used basic HTML with frames. This version was online from 2000 to 2001.
ISW V2Star Wars Fan Site Version 2
An updated version of the Star Wars fan site. It used HTML tables for layout and Javascript to construct the menus. This version was online from 2001 to 2003.
Donegal Sports PartnershipDonegal Sports Partnership - Unfinished
This is a template for a site I was developing for the Donegal Sports Partnership in 2004. It used HTML for content and CSS for positioning.
Treanor StoneTecTreanor Fireplaces - Unfinished
This is an unfinished site that I was creating for Treanor Stone-Tec. It used HTML for content and CSS for positioning and design with SSI for the menus.
ISW V3Star Wars Fan Site Version 3 - Unfinished
This was a template created for the Star Wars fan site. This would've been the third version of the site but inactivity of members killed off any interest in the site. It used HTML tables for layout.
